DRAIN CLEANING

Drain clogs can be frustrating and disrupt your daily routines. At Viking Plumbing we work to determine the root cause of the drain blockage to ensure that you don’t have that experience again.

Some common drain clog causes include:

  • Hair
  • Grease, fat, and oil
  • Food waste
  • Hygiene products
  •  Soap residue

While the majority of clogged drains are due to these obstructions, a backed up drain can be indicative of a more serious issue such as an outdated drain trap, a break in the drain stack, etc.

For this reason, Viking Plumbing recommends a video inspection of the clogged drain once flow is restored in order to accurately diagnose the actual issue and not just the symptom.

SEWER CLEANING

An obstructed sewer line can be a serious issue, causing backups and potential damage to your property if left untreated. A Viking Plumbing technician will work to restore flow in the sewer line. Once flow is restored, a sewer camera will be used to find out why the backup occurred.

Sewer backups are usually a result of:

  • Root intrusion
  • Grease buildup
  • A shift or break in the sewer line
  • Food waste
  • Hygiene products
  • Soap residue
